Friday, Nov 8 – Ecumenical Service for the 20th Anniversary of the Joint Declaration on Justification
Reception: 5 pm. Service 6 pm, First Lutheran Church, 116 Bond St.
We are celebrating and commemorating the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification (October 31, 1999). This historic document has been signed by the Catholic Church, the Lutheran World Federation, the Anglican Communion, the World Methodist Council and the World Communion of Reformed Churches. His Eminence Cardinal Collins will be preaching on this very special occasion.
