It is with sadness and gratitude that we remember founding ECUT board member and long-time treasurer, Brian Malcolm. Brian’s signature on the official articles of corporation for the Ecumenical Chaplaincy at U of T helped to form and to shape the chaplaincy as we know it. On April 30, 2014, Brian received the ECUT Legacy Award in recognition of his ground-breaking contributions to campus ministry as visionary treasurer and faithful office holder with ECUT from 2001-2014. He was committed to the chaplaincy and understood its importance on the campus. He was a pleasure to work with – he always showed up to meetings on time, with a wonderful warm smile on his face, ready to do the work required to keep the chaplaincy going!The funeral for Brian Malcolm will be held on December 7, 1:00 pm, at Eglinton St.George’s United Church, 35 Lytton Blvd. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his honour be made to the organizations he supported so faithfully: Evangel Hall Mission and The Ecumenical Chaplaincy at the University of Toronto.
